Boost for players and coaches at monthly sessions


Monday night saw Claire Brownie Scotland Netball Team Captain back coaching with the Club. Claire is also a member of the Scottish Sirens Netball Super League Team and is delivering monthly coaching sessions at Dumfries Blues Netball Club through to July 2017. Dumfries Head Coach Andrew Reed said “Claire has delivered two sessions and already the players and coaches are benefiting from her knowledge and experience. These sessions are open to all junior and senior club members. The club always welcomes new members, young and old and if anyone is interested in playing, training and receiving training with one of Scotland’s best players then please contact the club either through facebook or dumfiiesblues@outlook.com.” Coaching session take place on Mondays at Loreburn Hall for ages ranging from Primary 4 ages up to adults. The club also operate Bounceback to Netball sessions for those ladies who wish to get back to the sport for fun and friendly recreational netball, these sessions are also at Loreburn Hall on Fridays 6-7pm.
